Wellness workshop to celebrate Social Prescribing Day 2020
What is Social Prescribing?
Social Prescribing is about supporting your health and well-being using community-based activities and supports - such as exercise, art, reading and gardening - or perhaps self-help sessions such as stress control.
You can be referred to our Social Prescribing Well-being Coordinator by your GP or other health care professional, or you can call us yourself if you prefer.
Our Social Prescribing Well-being Coordinator will meet with you to explore your needs, and look at what might benefit you in the community. You can then work together to make sure you are able to access these activities and supports.
Who is it for?
The programme is for you if you feel you just need some support to mind your health and well-being - or if you're feeling isolated, stressed, anxious or depressed.
Call Caragh or Alexandra on (01) 286 8266 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
