Bray Area Partnership is asking local community and voluntary groups and others to complete a very brief online survey to explore interest and need for a potential new Community Hub for Bray - and please do share it with others!
The idea is to create a purpose-built, centrally-located facilities and services hub that community groups and others could share - with affordable office space to rent, and shared facilities such as meeting, training and function rooms that could also be made available to the whole community.
Other ideas include workshops and studios for social enterprises, incubator spaces for business start-ups, a community café run as a social enterprise and perhaps even a community garden – all ideas are welcome!
The overall vision is of a warm and welcoming community space that meets high accessibility and environmental standards. The benefits for community groups and other users would be having affordable purpose-built facilities, easy access to spaces to hold meetings, training and events, and a collaborative working environment.
Bray Area Partnership will be leading this initiative but will be consulting with the community – please complete our brief survey and also use the space to share your ideas for what the Community Hub could offer. The survey will be open until 30th November - you can access it at:
