Free Online Well-being programme starting on 2nd March 2021

Our ASPIRE Social Prescribing Project is running a free four-week online Well-being Programme starting on 2nd March 2021.

The idea is to support our ASPIRE clients to enhance their well-being and coping skills. Looking after our health and well-being is particularly important in the current situation of uncertainty, social distancing and limited social contact. 

The programme takes place over four small group sessions and will cover stress, coping, resilience and self-care in challenging times. 

Sessions are interactive and include an overview of the topic, reflective and relaxation practices and (optional) short discussions, and we'll give you useful links for home practice. Note that you need to have access to a smartphone or other digital device to take part.

Who is the Well-being Programme for?

The programme is open to clients of our ASPIRE Project who would like to improve their emotional wellbeing (eg anxiety, stress), are struggling with the impact of current social distancing and limited social contact and feel that their current coping and selfcare strategies are not sufficient, helpful or healthy.

ASPIRE is a free Social Prescribing service that is about supporting your health and well-being using community-based activities and supports - such as exercise, art, reading and gardening - or perhaps self-help sessions such as stress control. If you are interested in joining ASPIRE, one of the team can talk to you over the phone or online to explore your needs, and look at what might benefit you in the community. You can then work together to make sure you are able to access these activities and supports and take part in programmes such as the Well-being Programme.
