Bray Area Partnership is recruiting for the position of Employment Facilitator in the IMPACT Initiative.

The main job function is to support people with disabilities to achieve sustainable employment, become self-employed or progress in their careers, and to engage with employers.

IMPACT is a service that supports people with disabilities to achieve sustainable employment, become self - employed or progress in their careers.

IMPACT provides person-centred supports such as training, competency building, mentoring and in work supports to people with disabilities in the Bray and North Wicklow areas, working in collaboration with local employers.

The IMPACT service is led by Bray Area Partnership and is made up of a consortium of local disability organisations, with funding under the Measure to Support the Employment of People with Disabilities - a Department of Social Protection programme resourced by the Dormant Accounts Fund.

The aims are to increase labour market participation, employment skills and employability of people with disabilities, opportunities for career progression and the numbers of employers with good practice and supportive workplaces for people with disabilities.

The successful candidate will be offered an employment contract until December 31st 2023 with no less than a 6-month probationary contract. Further employment contracts may be offered subject to satisfactory performance of duties and the continuation of funding for the position.

This position requires Garda vetting.
