Online Career Skills course starting 29th September 2021

Are you unemployed and looking to get back to work? Looking for a short focused course to sort out your CV, learn interview techniques, match your skills to jobs and apply for jobs?

Our free online Career Skills course starting on 29th September 2021 takes place over three practical workshops covering:

  • Two hours a week online
  • CV preparation
  • Interview techniques workshop
  • Skills match and job application

You'll get a Career/Job Search worksheet in the final workshop to help you plan your career path going forward to suit your needs

The workshops are designed to be flexible to allow you progress at your own pace and the group to work together to achieve its goals.

NOTE: You need access to a smart phone, tablet or laptop/computer, and internet, to take part but, if you don’t have these, do contact us as we may be able to help you with this, and with support on how to use Zoom.

Do I qualify for this course?

You must be living in Bray, Delgany, Greystones, Kilcoole, Kilmacanogue, Newcastle Lower or Newtownmountkennedy to qualify to take part, and priority will be given to people who belong to one or more of these groups:

  • Unemployed person
  • Low income worker
  • Young person 15-24 who is not currently in education, employment or training
  • Disadvantaged woman
  • Disadvantaged family
  • Lone parent
  • From a new community
  • Living in a disadvantaged area
  • Person with a disability
  • Substance misuser
  • Traveller
  • Roma
