Bray Area Partnership has been successful in securing significant funding for a Social Prescribing project for the Bray and North Wicklow area, through the Sláintecare Integration Fund.
Our new project is called ASPIRE – which stands for Adult Social Prescribing for Individual Resilience and Empowerment.
Social Prescribing supports individuals to manage their own health and wellbeing in the community by linking them up with activities and supports that suit their individual needs.
We're delighted to have succeeded in bringing this funding into the local area. Social Prescribing empowers people to choose the supports they need for their own health and wellbeing in their own community. This new funding means we can greatly expand our current Social Prescribing service, which is funded through Healthy Ireland.
