Bray Area Partnership (BAP) is the lead body in a local consortium of organisations involved in the development of the IMPACT Initiative (Inclusive Measures Progressing Active Career Targets).

The initiative will work with people with disabilities to support them to achieve sustainable employment, become self-employed or progress in their careers.

IMPACT will start to deliver services from the end of December 2021 and will provide person-centred supports such as training, competency-building, mentoring and in-work supports to people with disabilities in the Bray and North Wicklow areas - working in collaboration with local employers. 

We are currently recruiting for the following staff:

IMPACT Initiative Coordinator:

28-hour-week position with the ideal candidate being a team leader with relevant project management experience and know-how, preferably in the disability sector. Interviews are scheduled for week-commencing Monday 25th October 2021. It is expected that the person selected will be in post by Monday 22nd November 2021.

Specialist Targeted Employment Placement Support (STEPS) Worker - 28 hours a week:

28-hour-week position. Candidates will have a track record of engaging with people seeking to enter the labour market and supporting job placement/self-employment, retention and advancement. Knowledge and direct experience of work with people with disabilities is desirable. Click here for full job description. Interviews are scheduled for week-commencing Monday 1ST November 2021. It is expected that the person selected will be in post by Monday 29th November 2021.

Administrative Support Worker:  

12-hour-week position. Candidates will have prior experience of working in a support role to enable the effective operation of a project action plan. Knowledge and competency in dealing with and recording financial transactions is important. Click here for full job description.
