Case Study video: Ukrainian Community Centre Bray & North Wicklow

Photo shows Minister Joe O'Brien, centre worker Mariana, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Ireland and Councillor Erika Doyle standing with a tray of Ukrainian breads.

Our Ukrainian Community Centre for Bray and North Wicklow provides a warm and welcoming space for Ukrainian people to connect, socialise, get information and advice and take part in a wide range of activities.

Activities on offer include conversational English language classes, skills training, and workshops and sessions for children and adults in art, dance, physical fitness, well-being, healthy eating and more.

Above all, it is a space where Ukrainians from our local community can get together and socialise with others from their community.

The centre and its three Ukrainian Community Liaison Workers are funded by the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP).

Check out this new SICAP case study video, which is all about the centre - with lots of wonderful clips of the activities available at the centre and testimonials from local Ukrainian people on how much the centre means to them.
