We were delighted to host Minister Simon Harris and members of the Youth Mental Health Network at BAP offices on 5th April for the official announcement that a Jigsaw Youth Mental Health Project for Wicklow will open in Bray this year.
We did it! After years of hard work by our Youth Mental Health Network and its members, working in collaboration with the whole community, we are delighted that Minister Simon Harris has announced that a Jigsaw Youth Mental Health project for Co. Wicklow will open this year in Bray.
We've been working with community members in Kilcoole to explore setting up a new mental health support group in the town. The group would offer a safe and confidential space to talk with guidance and support.
Our Healthy Ireland initiative is providing workshops in local schools where children and parents can have fun while learning about nutrition, delicious healthy cooking and physical exercise. Find out more HERE.

Our colleagues in SPECS Bray are offering a free Parents Plus Early Years parenting programme for parents of children aged 0-6 years in Bray, starting on 16th January 2019.
Our Disability Network has been providing a series of Disability Awareness Workshops for TY and LC students in local post-primary schools.
The workshops are fun and interactive and provide a presentation on disability, including thought-provoking videos, followed by exercises and group work.
Minister for Health Simon Harris TD has launched an evaluation report on our SPECS Bray project, which found that the work of this prevention and early intervention initiative has resulted in significant positive outcomes for local parents and children.
