About our Training for Work
If you're unemployed, under-employed, low income, or meet certain other criteria, we run regular training courses and workshops to help you:
Check out our series of fun healthy eating videos made during COVID restrictions, designed for parents and children to learn together how to make healthy versions of homemade pizza, natural fruit winders, banana bread, granola, smoothies and power balls!
To protect our service-users and the wider community during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not able to offer face-to-face services and are delivering our training online via Zoom. Please note that for parents of younger children, our SPECS Bray service is offering online and phone support and information and online parenting courses and workshops.
To protect our service-users and the wider community, we are currently running training and network meetings online. We are still available to talk to you over the phone and continue to provide useful information for community groups via our website and social media.
Keep an eye on our Events page to find out about upcoming online training for community groups.
We run free conversational English classes in the community through our Fáilte Isteach Bray and Kilcoole project - both general classes and also new classes specifically for Ukrainian refugees.
You must be living in our area of Bray or North Wicklow to attend these classes, and you must register with us and enrol before starting classes.
